Texas!
Downtown Austin! It takes us about 10 mins. to drive to the downtown area!
Tom and I live right off Brodie Ln. Brodie is one long stretch of endless stores and restaurants.
Driving up, over, and down these ramps was a bit intimidating (mostly for me) but, now we are driving like true Bostonian...LOL!
Tom and I live about 4 1/2 miles from this exit!

San Antonio - Thanksgiving Weekend
The San Antonio River Walk!
Tom and I went on the River Walk Boat Tour. The driver of the boat shared the history of the river walk and its architecture which, I might add was absolutely beautiful. Tom video the tour however, he need to edit/shorten it due to it being to long. When he is finished editing will add it to the blog for you to view.
Restaurants along the River Walk!
The Alamo
Hurry take the picture, the sun is in my eyes and I have to pee again!!!
Tribute to the soldiers of the Alamo!
The pictures don't do this monument justice!
Tom and Glo ate Thanksgiving dinner at the Buckhorn!
Eating dinner with all these head starring at you is just wrong!!!!
We ate lunch at the Guadalajara Grill and the food was outstanding!
We had a fabulous time! The entertainment was fantastic, food was tasty, and we enjoyed the festival as well as some of the little specialty shops. There was a pottery store that had some beautiful pieces and the colors really grabbed your attention.
We live about 1hr and 15 mins from San Antonio and we plan to go back in the near future to Sea World and maybe to the pottery store again!!!!

Update & The Exotic Resort Zoo!
Hello Friends:
Tom and I miss you all and hope you are all in good spirits and great health.
The two of us have been busy; Tom has been working 6 days per week and I am busy researching and writing several educational blogs on various health-related issues.
We have been able to do a little siteseeing, which also helps us learn our way around this very large city.
Tom is working with a great bunch of people with whom we have had the pleasure of going out a few times and we will be attending our very first Texas Style BBQ at the ranch of one of Tom's co-workers on November 8Th.
Halloween is a big time celebration here in Austin. We are told 6Th St is where to be on Halloween night, so Tom and I are dressing up as Sonny and Cher -- he's Cher
LOL..........kidding!!!!
We still have not seen the Austin Bats that come out at Dusk. It seems that every time we make plans it rains! Austin was having a drought but Tom and I swear we brought the rain with us from New England.
So far, we have not gotten the flu or any other cold (one second while I knock on wood), but recently a spider did take a chunk out of my leg which got infected and I spent my birthday at the local Urgent Care!
No, Tom has not gotten bitten by any of these lovely Texas bugs; I don't think his skin tastes as sweet as mine!!! :)
Best wishes to all!

Feeding the Deer who were also trying to eat our clothes.
Tom and his new friend Mr. Camel!
Feeding the Llama...they were very friendly and extremely gentle, unlike Tom's friend Mr. Camel who almost ate your hand along with the food.

No Guilt Brownies!
Hello Friends:
Tom and Glo had Salmon on Salad for dinner last night and
For brunch today Tom and Glo had boiled eggs (minus the yoke), A slice of whole-grain sprouted bread toasted, grapes, raspberries, strawberries and half a pluot.
and this is a "no guilt added" brownie!
Tom do you want one or two scoops of ice cream topped on your brownie?? :)
